House, now used as 2 dwellings. Late C18 rear wing, altered C20, with large
front wing of c.1830-40 added at right angles. Front wing is of rendered brick
with coved plaster eaves, hipped roof of Swithland slate, and flanking brick
chimneys. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Chamfered plinth, first floor sill band. 3-pane
sashes, central double panelled doors with semicircular fanlight. Rendered porch
with moulded cornice and plain frieze on Doric columns. Single storey bay to
right, probably of later date, with parapet and blocked door. Rear wing is of
roughcast brick, whitewashed, also with Swithland slate roof and brick chimneys.
2 storeys, 3 bays. First floor band course, moulded eaves. C20 transomed wooden
casements, 3-light flanking 2-light, that to ground floor right altered to C20
hipped bay with metal casements and French doors. Central C20 door.
