Six cottages in L-plan range. 1859, by William Butterfield for Winstanley estate.
Red brick with irregular diaper patterning in blue headers, C20 tiled roof,
battered brick chimneys. Plain and asymmetrical. 2 storeys. North front has
approximately 10 bays, 4 to left at slightly lower level than remainder.

are slightly advanced; bays 2, 7 and 8 have small gables over first floor windows.
Barred wooden casements, those to first floor mostly 2-light, those to ground
floor mostly single or 3-light. Fully gabled bays have C20 glazed and barred

slightly more elaborate, with cogged first floor string and diapering between
storeys. but ground floor has been altered to incorporate wide C20 barred wooden
window and door. Right bay is blind and diapered. Similar rear range.
