and enclosure

War memorial cross and enclosure. c.1920. Granite rubble and
ashlar. Moulded hexagonal plinth of 2 steps, carrying a short
armed square section cross with a square base. To the east, cast
metal panels with the dates 1914-1918 and the names of the dead.
Around the cross, a semi-circular paved area, bounded to east by
8 truncated obelisk posts linked by a spiked chain, and on the
other sides by a rubble wall.
