2/22 Hill Foot Farmhouse

II


Farmhouse. Late C18, with early C19 additions. Brick with
hipped plain tile roofs. Rubble and brick plinth, dentillated
eaves, 2 lateral brick stacks. 3 storeys, 3 bays. L-plan.
South front has 2 brick clasping buttresses and central mid C20
gabled brick porch with C19 half glazed door with a segmental
head. On each side, a C20 3 light casement. Above, a central 2
light casement flanked by single 3 light casements. All these
windows have segmental rubbed brick heads. Above again, a
central 2 light casement flanked by single 3 light casements.
The east side has 3 casements and a door, all C20. In the rear
return angle, an early C19 single storey addition with a rounded
north-west corner. The rear elevation has, above, 3 two light
casements with segmental heads.
