Farmhouse, now a house. Mid C18 with early C19 and C20
additions. Brick, partly rendered, with hipped plain tile roof.
First floor band, single ridge, gable and external lateral brick
stacks. 2 storeys, 5 bays. L-plan. South front has a central
reeded pedimented wooden doorcase, C20, with a C18 half glazed
door, flanked by single 12 pane glazing bar sashes. Above, 5
smaller glazing bar sashes. To the right, a single storey
outbuilding with dentillated eaves and a ridge stack. West side
has a central pair of glazed doors flanked to left by a C20 2
light casement and to right by a round headed sash. Above, 3
tall C19 2 light casements, that to the right being smaller. To
the left, single and 2 storey additions with dentillated eaves
and pantile roofs. C20 lean-to porch with casement and door. To
its left, a gabled single storey wing with a C20 casement and a
similar casement in the return angle. North gable has a 2 light
casement and above it, a large square early C19 oriel with
patterned glazing bars. Above again, a 2 light casements with
segmental head. East side has in the return angle a hipped 2
storey addition and stair turret with an adjoining hipped C20
porch with a glazed door flanked by C20 casements. To the left a
casement and beyond, a 2 light sliding sash, both with segmental
heads. To the right, a C20 lean-to porch flanked to left by a 3
light sliding sash and beyond, a cross casement, both with
segmental heads. To the right, a C20 casement. Above the porch,
a C20 casement flanked to left by a casement with segmental head
and beyond, a tall 2 light casement. To the right, 2 two light
casements with segmental heads. The return angle has a casement
with segmental head and above, a round headed fixed light.
Adjoining outbuilding to east has a low barred opening flanked to
left by a small casement and to right by a half glazed door.
