House. Late C17 and early C18, with C19 alterations and
additions. Brick, partly rendered and whitewashed, with moulded
brick dressings and plain tile and slate roofs. Coped gables, 3
rendered gable stacks, that to the east external. 2 storeys plus
attics, 5 bays. L-plan. North front has a pair of brick
flanking pilasters and a deep, moulded brick eaves cornice.
Central C19 half glazed door, with hood on curved wrought iron
brackets, flanked by single late C19 3 light casements. Above, a
central blank panel flanked on either side by 2 two light
casements, all with rubbed brick heads. Above again, 2 C19
gabled dormers with bargeboards and 2 light casements. To the
left, C19 2 storey service wing with a garage door and to its
left, a door with segmental head. Above, a central blank panel
flanked by single 2 light casements at a higher level, all with
segmental heads. Rear wing has, to south, 2 C19 additions, 3
bays. In the return angle, a C19 half glazed door. Interior has
a late C18 oak staircase with stick balusters and scrolled
handrail, and a 6 panelled door with a fanlight.
