House of earlier C18. Painted brick with brick band, moulded brick eaves
cornice and stone plinth. Swithland slate roof with right end and 2
ridge stacks. 2 storeys of 6 tall casements with top lights, alternating
1-light, 2-light from left. Ground floor from left similar 1-light,
3-light, square porch (probably later, with flat roof, moulded brick
cornice and low wide door), C19 canted bay, 1-light and 2/2 sash.
Larger windows have cambered lintels. On left end a C20 3-light window
with C20 attic window and C20 windows on rear extension. On right end
1-light and attic 2-light window. On rear 3 gabled extension to right
with long 1 storey outshut,doors, and 2 and 3-light casements mostly with
cambered lintels. 2 C20 dormers. Ceiling beams inside. Group value
with Nos. 2 and 4 The Green.
