House, now student hostel; early C19, stucco, painted white, hipped slate roof with
deep eaves. Two-storey, double fronted, 3 window range. Projecting band between
ground and first floors. 12-pane sash windows. Pedimented doorcase with fluted
pilasters. Round-arched recessed entrance, radiating fanlight, double door.
Addition to rear. Step to garden made from slate milestone. "London 110, Derby 16"
still visible.
