Large barn, probably mid C18. Brick on granite rubble plinth, with Swithland
slate roof. Central double doorway, with red and blue brick segmentally arched
head, now blocked, between 2 brick pilasto buttresses. 1 6-light window to
ground floor of left-hand bay, single door and window in right-hand bay, and
2 upper lights. Various blocked vents. Known locally as maltings to former
Benskins brewery.
