Set in east wall of No 15 is a polished granite stone tablet of circa 1903
commemorating the dead of the South African war 1899-1902. (The ironstone used
in the facade of Nos 15 and 17 is reputed to be from the old Church of St Mary
in Arden). C18 facade. Ironstone with brick rear. Slate roof. 2 storeys and
4 gabled dormers above. Good moulded wood eaves cornice. 6 windows, sashes with
glazing bars. 2 large angled bays on ground floor. Dormers have 2-light Gothick
arched windows with finials and scalloped bargeboards. 2 similar mid C18 doorcases
in moulded stone with reeded pilasters, panelled reveals and open pediments.
