A fine house of some importance. C17 with early C18 additions and front to churchyard,
which is of 2 storeys, roughcast and with modillion eaves cornice. 7 windows,
sashes with original glazing bars throughout and plain stone architraves, the
centre window and doorcase set in rusticated stone. 6-panelled door with good
traceried fanlight. Western or road facade has 2 gabled wings. Recessed 3 windowed
centre with C18 door in similar doorcase as that on southern facade and with good
fanlight.
