Pair of farmhouses. 1752, refenestrated late C20. Coursed and
squared limestone with limestone ashlar dressings and slate roof.
Chamfered plinth, coped gables with kneelers, 2 gable and central
ridge coped stone stacks. 3 storeys plus garrets, 7 bays.
Symmetrical south side has 2 fronts. That to left has a half-
glazed C20 door with glazing bar overlight, flanked by single
wooden cross mullioned casements. To right, a C20 half-glazed
door with overlight and a flanking light to the left, flanked by
single wooden cross mullioned casements. Above, each front has a
central blind window flanked by single wooden cross casements.
Above again, each front has a smaller blind window, flanked by
single 2 light casements. Between the fronts, a datestone
inscribed "ATW 1752". Each gable has a blocked casement to the
garret. Outside, early C19 cast iron spearhead railing with 2
gates and posts with finials. Beyond, to left, an adjoining
boundary wall, L-plan, 5M long, with a blue brick coping.
