Farmhouse and adjoining cottage, now a house. Early and mid C19
with C19 and C20 alterations and additions. Coursed and squared
ironstone and brick, partly rendered, with concrete tile roofs.
Single ridge and 2 gable brick stacks, single brick coped gable.
2 storeys, 5 unequal bays. L-plan. East front has an off-centre
C19 gabled porch with octagonal wooden posts and elaborately
decorated bargeboard with drop, and a 6 panel door. To its left
a 2 light C19 casement with a wooden lintel, and beyond, a canted
late C19 2 storey bay window with 3 plain sashes on each floor.
To the right of the door, a canted C19 bay window with 3 plain
sashes, and beyond, a single casement with a wooden lintel.
Above, 2 C19 3 light glazing bar casements and to their right a
similar 2 light casement, all with wooden lintels. To the right
a single bay cottage with a C19 3 light casement with a wooden
lintel and above, a sloping dormer with 2 two light casements.
North side has to left, a C19 2 light casement flanked to left by
a projecting half-round bread oven with a slate roof. Above, in
the gable, a 2 light casement with a segmental head. To the
right, a single storey range with a single C20 casement flanked
by single 2 light casements. Beyond, to right, a single smaller
casement.
