Stable. 1683, altered 1836, with C20 addition. Coursed and
squared ironstone with slate roof. Plinth, single brick ridge
stack. Single storey, 3 bays. West front has an off-centre
plank door flanked to left by a C19 casement and to right by a
blocked window and beyond, a C19 casement inserted in a blocked
doorway. The openings have wooden lintels. East side has an
off-centre stable door and to its right an unglazed opening.
Beyond, a C20 lean-to brick addition with doorway. South gable
has a small square central opening. Above it, a C19 tilting
light with a wooden lintel. Above it, a datestone inscribed 'MCE
1683' and above it, a datestone inscribed 'HJE 1836'. Included
for group value only.
