House. Late C17, with C19 and mid C20 additions and alterations.
Coursed and squared ironstone with limestone ashlar dressings and
Collyweston slate roof. 4 stone gable stacks, 2 of them with C19
Tudor style patterned pots, and a capped external gable stack.
Flush ashlar quoins. 3 bay south front, 2 storeys plus attics,
has a central C19 gabled porch with a chamfered 4 centred arched
doorway flanked on either side by a 3 light mullioned window with
moulded mullions and flat hood, each with a central glazing bar
sash flanked by single fixed lights. Beyond, to the left, a
small buttress. Above, a central 2 light mullioned casement with
above, a small cross eaves gable, flanked on either side by a 3
light mullioned casement. All with moulded mullions. Above
again, 2 C19 gabled dormers each with a round headed casement.
East side has a C20 parapeted flat roofed porch with a 4 centred
arched door. To its right, a C19 gabled wing with a central
recessed C20 casement flanked on either side by a 3 light
mullioned casement, all under a continuous hood mould. Above,
similar fenestration with a blank central window. Above, to
left, a C17 2 light mullioned casement. East side, to street,
has to left a 3 light casement and to right a smaller mullioned
casement. Above, a squat off-centre 3 light mullioned casement
flanked to left by a taller 3 light casement and to right bya
single casement, all with flat hoods. Above again, to left, a
gabled dormer with a 2 light mullioned casement with hood mould.
