Post Office. Circa 1870. Brick, faced with coursed ironstone to facade
and north-west return. Roofs of graded Cwiberland slate. One storey and
dormer attic. One-bay gabled cross wing projects to right with a canted
bay to ground floor and a 3-light casement to first floor. All windows to
facade are stone mullioned casements with shouldered heads. Entrance in
main elevation: stone surround and overlight. Single-light casement to
left below a through-eaves gabled dormer with twin-light casement. Left
bay projects and projection includes a second gabled dormer. 3-light cross
casement to ground floor. Post box set into wall in centre of front.
