House. Circa 1830. Colourwashed brick with roof of graded Cumberland
slate. East facade of 2 storeys in 3 bays, the bays defined by broad,
plain, pilaster strips. Centre bay projects under pediment. Panelled
central door with margin lights and 7-vaned fanlight within timber trellis
porch. Sash window over doorway with glazing bars. Remainder of
fenestration of tripartite sashes with glazing bars. Ashlar eaves cornice
and hipped roof. Twin stacks on roof ridge. Later service ranges attached
to rear: brick, 2 storeys, dormers, external stacks, Cumberland slate
roofs.
