Farmhouse, now 2 houses. South range of C17 origins, altered C18 and C20.
Colourwashed ironstone and brick. North block c. 1820. Brick. Pantiled
roofs. South range of 2 storeys. Ground floor lit through tripartite
sashes with glazing bars. First floor has late C18 casements. East block
projects slightly to south with door in re-entrant angle. Brick dentil
eaves cornice. Gabled roof with tall ridge stack set left of centre.
Interior with chamfered C18 bridging beams, evidence of blocked C17 windows
and 2 C17 4-centred chimney-pieces. One of these remains blocked in, the
other exposed and moved. Roof structure of ties, principals, butt purlins
and collars. North block abuts to centre of south range and is an addition
of one build. 2 storeys in 3 bays. Platband between storeys. Gabled
gault brick porch of 1840s is flanked by one late C19 sash each side. 3
similar sashes to first floor. Dentil eaves cornice below gabled roof.
Internal gable-end stacks and ridge stack right of centre.
