Combined stables and house. Circa 1785. Coursed ironstone with limestone
dressings. Graded Swithland slate roof. 2 storeys. Central full height
arched carriage entrance with rusticated surround leads through to stable
yard. Over entrance is an open pediment with an oculus in pediment head.
To south of entrance are 4 window bays to each floor fitted with sashes
with glazing bars. Platband between floors. To north of entrance are 2
blind windows to first floor and a single hay loft door. Hipped roof with
2 stacks serving living quarters. Over pediment is an octagonal limestone
cupola with round arches carrying a dome with ball finial. Rear elevation
similar but windows are recessed under shallow 2-storey arches.
