Mid C18 house, converted to school 1850, returned to domestic use 1970s,
and each time altered. Coursed ironstone with slate roofs. Main block to
west with long subsidiary wing extending to rear. One storey and dormer
attic. West side illuminated through 2 2-light casements. Gabled roof
carries one gabled dormer right of centre and a ridge stack left of centre.
South gable has one 2-light casement to ground floor and another to attic.
Parapeted gable head supports bell-cote added 1850 for school use.
