4/100 Rose Cottage



Cottage. Core largely C17 or earlier, though partially refronted and extended
in C18 or C19. Brick and ironstone rubble, with thatched roof. 1½ storeys,
3 unit plan. Left hand bay has a C19 brick facade and Welsh slate roof, and
contains a 3-light casement window on each floor. The main part of the cottage
is brick to left with 3-light casement window and doorway in gabled porch,
2-light casement in eyebrow dormer above. Right hand bay is of coursed ironstone
rubble and contains a single 2-light window. All windows are leaded casements.
