GV II

Cottage. C16/C17. Cruck framed, whitewashed rendered brick with painted rubble
stone plinth and thatch roof with rendered ridge and end stacks. 1½ storeys
of 2 3-light casements and a 3-light horizontal sliding sash, all with 4-panelled
shutters. Central 6-panelled door. Open carriageway to left. 3 3-light eyebrow
dormers over and a small gable with 2-light over door. Inside are 2 pairs of
cruck blades (1 blade cut) and partly C17 oak staircase with turned balusters.
This has dog gate with wavy flat balusters.
