4 cottages. Early C19. Red brick and Welsh slate roof, part Swithland slate
to rear, with brick ridge and end stacks, 4 in all. No. 4 to right has coped
gables. 2 storeys of 5 windows : 2 2-light diamond lattice horizontal sliding
sashes, similar 2-light with small panes, 1-light casement, and 2-light diamond
lattice horizontal sliding sash, this last with cambered lintel and hood mould.
On ground floor from left, 2-light casement, 2 plank doors, 2-light diamond
lattice horizontal sliding sash, similar plain 2-light sash, 3 plank doors
and 2-light diamond lattice horizontal sliding sash. Cambered lintels and
last 3 openings also have hood moulds. C20 1 storey lean-tos to rear. Included
for group value.
