House, now 2 dwellings. C18, with late C16/C17 origins. Whitewashed rendered
brick with rubble stone plinth and Swithland slate roof with brick central
ridge and left side projecting stacks. Main range with cross wing projecting
forwards on left. Two storeys of 3 2-light casements. On ground floor a 3-light
centre-opening casement either side central 4-panelled door. On cross wing
facing gable a 1-light with top light and similar 2-light over but both of
same width. Further casements on either end. V.C.H., Vol. V, refers to earlier
origins.
