GV II

House. C17/early C18, encased early C19. Timber-framed colourwashed brick
and Welsh slate roof with 3 brick ridge stacks. Wide eaves with gutters supported
on iron brackets. Two storeys of 4 casements : 2-light, 3-light, 2-light,
3-light. On ground floor a similar 3-light either side part-glazed door. Cambered
lintels except for door and left 1st floor 2-light. 1½ storey extension on
left end with 3-light over 1-light on gable end. Two storey wing to rear.
Inside are chamfered ceiling beams, simple C18 staircase, and tie beam trusses.
Fragments of large panelled timber framing are also visible. On the exterior,
part of a tie beam truss is visible on left end above the extension. V.C.H.
