SP 79 NW GOADBY THE STREET (West Side)

GV II


House. C19 with early (C17 ?) core. Painted brickwork with plain tiled roof.
1½ storeyed, 3 unit plan with one bay to right of doorway which is in the gabled
porch with round headed archway. Right hand window is a 2-light casement with
flat timber lintel and small panes. Left of the door, a renewed 3-light casement
and canted bay window with 3-lights beyond. Two gable dormers above, that
to right containing paired 2-light casements. Axial stack. Steeply pitched
roof, with curved principal rafters visible in right hand gable.
