1/93 Churchyard Cross


Cross, perhaps C14. Limestone. Tall chamfered shaft rises from square base;
and terminates in a very weathered carved capital : foliate volutes, perhaps,
or human masks. Above it is the cross head itself, a very elaborately curved
and scrolly form.
