The Homestead

2/114 Model Farmhouse

House. Probably with core of C18. Rendered over ironstone rubble, heightened
in brick and with Welsh slate roof. 2 storeyed, now of 5-bays, but the left-hand
bay appears to be a later addition to a 3 unit house, and contains a 2-light
casement window on each floor. The original building has 1 bay to left of
doorway, and 2 to its right, all with renewed 3-light casement windows. The
door is in a latticed work porch. Upper 2-light casement windows. Curved principal
rafters visible in right-hand gable. Gable and axial stacks.
