13/43 No. 12 (Brookside Cottage)


Cottage. Late C17/C18. Coursed rubble stone and red brick and thatch roof
with rendered brick central ridge and brick left end stacks. Gable facing,
front to right. 1½ storeys of 2 3-light casements. 3 brick steps up to 6-panelled
door centre left, the top panels glazed. 2 eyebrow dormers, that to left
3-light, that to right 2-light. Left end facing has red brick gable with
4-pane fixed light and similar 12-pane below. Whitewashed brick lean-to on
right end. 2 3-light eyebrow dormers to rear.
