SP 8493 CHURCH BANK (West Side)
12/49 Nos. 12 and 13
House, now 2 dwellings. Late Cl6/Cl7, and C18. Partly cruck-framed coursed
rubble stone and ashlar and Welsh slate roof with stone and blue brick end
stacks and buff brick rear stack. Stone coped gables facing, front to left.
2 ranges, that to left of ashlar, of C18, and of 2 storeys of 3 2-light casements.
Central door. Cambered lintels and keystones. Range to right of 2 storeys.
On 1st floor a 2-light casement and centre-opening 3-light. On ground floor
a French window, 1-light and 3-light. To rear a glazed porch and door and
further lean-tos. On facing gable end a blocked 3-light stone mullion window
and 2-light casement over. Inside this range (No.12) are visible chamfered
beams, inglenook, and in part, a pair of cruck blades and further blade with
