HORNINGHOLD

3/74 The Old Rectory

GV II

Cottage, sometime rectory. Early C17, restored and extended c1900. Coursed
rubble stone front with quoins and stone dressings and rest mainly red brick.
Plain tile roof with brick end stacks. Gable ends plain and fish scale tile
hung forming single diamond pattern. Gable facing, front to left. l½ storeys
of 3 3-light stone mullion windows with hood moulds. Part-glazed door centre
right. 3 3-light dormers over. On right end a small 1st floor 2-light casement.
1½ storey wing to rear. Chamfered beams and inglenook inside.
