House. Late C16/C17. Coursed rubble stone and squared stone with quoins
and Collyweston slate roof with moulded stone ridge and end stacks, 4 in all.
Stone coped gables. L plan, wing projecting to rear on left. 2½ storeys
of 5 stone mullion windows, mostly with hood moulds : 3-light in gable on
left otherwise 2-light. Plaster concave cornice over these. In gable on 2nd
floor a 2-light with worn stone tablet over. On ground floor a similar 3-light
to left and 2 3-light casements to right. Cemented plinth. Door on left
end. On right end a blocked 2nd floor window. Casements, hipped dormers,
and C20 1 storey extension to rear. Inside are chamfered beams, one with
jewel stop, 2 stone fireplaces with 4-centred arches, one resited, and 2 inglenooks.
