Former school building,1725, extended 1836 and 1887. Red brick and Welsh slate roof (part hipped) with brick ridge and end stacks. Three ranges: right range of 1725 and the former school; left range of 1725, raised a storey and extended 1836, and the former master's house; and rear range of 1887.

Right range has plinth and brick coped right gable. High single storey of six 16/16 sash windows. Central door up four stone steps. Two-leaved, eight-panelled door with wooden panel over. Gauged brick lintels. Left range, gable facing and projecting forwards, front to right. Brick band. Three storeys of three 6/6 sash windows. On second floor a 3/6 sash either side blind window. On ground floor two 6/6 sashes and wooden doorcase to right. Three stone steps, flat bracketted canopy and six-panelled door with glazed top panels. Further 6/6 and 3/6 sashes to rear. Rear range of three storeys. C18 panelling in entrance hall and two rooms of left range.
