7/109 Cottage formerly occupied by
the late Mr Busby Snr. (formerly
listed as part of The
Cottage. Dated 1603, mostly rebuilt and dated 1728, and raised 1/2 storey
c1800. Red brick and Welsh slate roof with brick central ridge stack. Brick
coped left shouldered gable and brick band. 2 storeys of 2 centre-opening
3-light casements, those on ground floor with top lights. Cambered lintels.
Central doorway with brick lintel and keystone. 4-panelled part-glazed door.
Wall post visible on 2 storey rear wing which has rubble stone plinth.
Adjoins cottage occupied by Mr. Busby Jnr. (q.v.) to left and No.2 Manor
Cottages (q.v.) to right. The doorway keystone is inscribed 'T.I.S. 1728
