II
House. Dated 1793, with earlier foundations. Colour-washed rendered brick
with coursed rubble stone plinth and Welsh slate roof with brick central ridge
and end stacks, that to left to rear. Brick nogged eaves. 2 1/2 storeys and
basement of 2 8/8 sash windows with cambered lintels. Central wooden doorcase
up 3 stone steps. Flat bracketted canopy. 6-panelled door and overlight. To
left a 2-light basement window. Attic window on left end. Said to be dated
1793. V.C.H., Vol.V.
