7/36 Elms Farmhouse (formerly
listed as The Elms)

House. Externally of early C18, possibly with earlier core. Brick with Welsh
slate roof. Main range and gabled cross-wing in plan, two and a half storeyed
and 3 units. Gabled wing has triple light sash windows to ground and first
floors and window in attic. Doorway to left of main range: 6-panelled door
in wood architrave with small canopy and delicately worked frieze in an Adam
style. 3-light casement windows flank another doorway, also 6-panelled.
Upper windows are casements of 2 and 3-lights, with leaded panes. All windows
have cambered gauged brickheads. 2 hipped dormers to roof. Axial stack.
