Farmhouse. Core of early C17. Extended and refronted C19. C17 parts are
of random granite rubble, the rest is brick. Renewed concrete tiled roof.
3 storeys, 4 bays. Backs onto street. The northern bay is distinct and
retains its C17 ovolo moulded mullion windows of 2 lights. The rest is
symmetrically arranged with central doorway in porch of the Tuscan order,
flanked by triple light sash windows and all contained in a parapet roofed
single storeyed extension of the late C19. Upper windows are 12-light sashes
with flat arched brick heads. Moulded brick eaves cornice. Gable and axial
stacks. In the rear wall 2 lower and 3 upper windows are C17 mullions with
flat hood moulds. One additional bay to south of less height, added in
C19. Inside, Jacobean dado panelling survives in the northern-most bay.
