Tower mill. Dated 1815, but extensively restored, c1976. Battered brick tower
of 5 storeys, the top storey partially rebuilt. Doorway with cambered head
at 1st floor level now reached from staging which is a totally new feature.
Small windows on each floor, also with cambered heads. Wooden ogee cap with
four common sails and fantail are recent reconstructions of the original appearance
of the mill. The windshaft is second hand and believed to come from a mill
in Norfolk. Large house alongside is of recent construction and is not of
special interest.
