House. Late C16. Timber frame with brick panel infill and Welsh slate roof. 2
storeyed, main range and cross wing, with doorway central in main range which
is of 4 unevenly sized bays. The left-hand bay projects very slightly and is
divided by 2 horizontal rails one of which is moulded. It contains a 3-light
casement window on each floor. 3-light casement window to right of doorway then
the projecting gabled wing, with casement windows. Timber frame is of post and
truss construction, with continuous vertical posts in the main range, where
there is now no sill. Sill beam of wing rests on boulder course and there is
arch bracing and a middle rail interrupting the vertical posts. Arch bracing
also in the 4 bay side elevation of the wing.
