(west side)

1/10 Talbot House

GV II

House. Late C18 and C19, probably earlier core. Red brick with
chequered burnt headers. Slate roof with 2 gable stacks and 1
ridge stack. 2 storeys. East front: partial plinth, dentilled
cornice. 6 bays. 3 bays to right are symmetrical, with central
doorway with plank door and segmental arch. To left and right,
single, 3-light casements with segmental arches. To left again,
a blocked, segmental arched opening, with C20 window, followed
by a vehical entrance with segmental arch and C20 double gates,
and then a 3-light sliding sash with flat arch. Above are four
3-light casements.
INTERIOR: A Chamfered axial beam can be seen from front doorway.
