Public house. C17, C20 alterations. Timber frame and brick.
Thatched roof with 2 brick stacks. 1½ storeys. Brick plinth.
East front: 7 bays, 6 square framed, with rendered infill 3
panels high, 1 to left rebuilt in brick. From left to right; a
C20 fixed-light window, then a 2-light casement, then two 3-light
casements. Above, 4 eyebrow dormers with 3-light casements.
South gable end wall has off-centre doorway with to right, 2
small casements.
INTERIOR: exposed beams and joists, C20 alterations. Roof is
said to retain many original timbers. Included for group value.
