1857, by Bennison. Range of terrace houses in brick, fronted with ashlar. "Jacobean'
style. Central gable and 6 high gabled dormers, Stone mullioned windows with
labels, and ground floor bay windows. Entrance doors paired under hoods on heavy
console brackets. Nos 3 and 4 are at centre and have 'Strapwork' pilasters. 4
groups of elaborately patterned chimneys are chief feature of interest Slate
roof. Nos 1, 2, 5 and 6 have ridge tile. Low stone garden wall with piers.

Forms a group with Nos 43 to 65 (odd) Eastgate
