Late Georgian. Three storeys in ashlar with chamfered rusticated quoins. Band
between first and top storeys. Five windows, bolection moulded frames in stone;
only top-storey centre window, which has segmental head and keystone, retains
(later glazing bars. Small pediment in centre with semi-circular glazed window
in tympanum. Embattled parapet. Ground floor now all modern, with centre flat-arched entry.
Stacks at gable ends. Now north entrance to a shopping arcade. Tablet down passage
to East advertising Post Horses and Carriages for hire, C19, resembling tombstone,
with cherub's mask.

Bristol Arcade and No 17 form a group.
