TF 34 SW FISHTOFT WHITEHOUSE LANE
11/41 Oid Fever Hospital
Former house, converted to Fever Hospital, now closed. Mid C18,
altered early C19 and C20. Whitewashed brick in Flemish bond,
slate roof with brick coped tumbled gables with moulded kneeler
to rear and 2 brick gable stacks, one rebuilt C20. Originally T-
plan. 2 storey, 3 bay front with brick band and panelled soffit
to overhanging eaves. Central C19 door with elaborately ribbed
panels and central roundel, in plain pilastered doorcase with
moulded hood, flanked by single sash windows now boarded. To
first floor a central semi-circular headed window has to the
right a single narrow window and is flanked by 2 glazing bar
sashes now boarded. All windows have cambered brick heads. Rear
wing only has brick dentillated cornice.
