Farmhouse

G.V. II

Farmhouse. Mid C18, altered C19 and C20. Red brick in Flemish
bond with slate roof and 2 gable stacks. L-plan. 2 storey plus
attics, 5 bay front, having central 8 panel door in panelled
reveals with C20 pedimented doorcase, flanked by pairs of glazing
bar sashes. To first floor are 5 similar windows. All windows.
have segmental brick heads. In the roof are 5 gabled C20 slate
hung dormers. First floor rooms retain original panelled
shutters and there is a dogleg staircase with knopped and turned
balusters.
