9/7 Trap house at
Woodlands Farm

G.V. II

Trap house and store, now garage. 1838 with minor C20
alterations. Red brick in English bond, hipped slate roof with
stone dressings. 2 storey, 6 bay front with double planked doors
under basket arch, flanked by single semi-circular headed glazing
bar sashes, and single planked doors with semi-circular heads.
To the right a semi-circular headed passageway opening. Beyond a
later pent roofed garage. In the right hand wall at high level a
small ashlar datestone inscribed "HM 1838". Included for group
value only.
