Holme House

G.V. II

House. Mid C18, altered C19 and C20. Red brick in Flemish bond,
ashlar dressings, concrete tiled roof, stone coped gables to
front, brick coped to rear, 2 brick gable stacks. T-plan. 2
storey with attic, 3 bay front with first floor ashlar band and
quoins. Central 6 panel door with wooden pilastered surround and
narrow lead hood, flanked by 2 storey canted bay windows with
plain sashes to each floor and C20 concrete tiled roof. To first
floor a central plain sash with moulded eared stone architrave,
also a fire insurance plaque. In the roof a single plain C20
dormer. To the rear a 2 storey service range has first floor
brick band and brick dentillated eaves course.
