Signalman's Cottage. C.1850. White brick, with slate ridge roof, and central brick
stack. One-and-a-half storey. Cross plan with 3 barge boarded gables, many of the
windows C20 replacements. North front has semi-circular verandah on coupled wooden
columns with decorated brackets, supporting roof, small casement dormer window above,
under barge-boarded gablet.
