GV II

House and former barn. C17 and early C19. Coursed limestone rubble and
ashlar dressings. C20 pantile roof and ashlar coped gables with finials.
2 brick ridge stacks. Flush ashlar quoins and moulded first floor band. L-
plan. 2 storey. East front has off-centre doorway with C19 half-glazed door
and C20 wooden gabled porch, to the right a Cl9 3-light casement, and to the
left a 4-light and a 2-light ovolo mullion window in chamfered surrounds with
hood moulds, beyond another C19 3-light casement. Above a central 2-light
ovolo mullion window in chamfered surround with hood mould flanked by single
C20 fixed lights and beyond a single similar 3-light mullion window. The west
front has 2 similar 2-light mullion windowson the upper floor. The south
front of the former barn has to the left a single 2-light casement, then a
fixed light and another 2-light casement and a C20 glazed door under a gabled
porch. Beyond again is a carriage doorway with Cl9 plank doors.
