Description

TF 04 SW CULVERTHORPE AND KELBY CULVERTHORPE PARK

4/36 Park Farm House,

II

Farmhouse. Early C19 and late C19, altered C20. Coursed limestone rubble
with ashlar quoins and dressings, pantiled roof with 2 gable and single
ridge red brick stacks. 2 storey 7 bay front with parapet and ball finials,
the left hand 3 bays are an addition. Central glazed C20 doors with reused
early C17 moulded ashlar surround and a Doric doorcase supporting a plain
frieze and cornice containing a circular panel and supporting an obelisk
finial. To either side are 3 three light glazing bar casements with
segmental ashlar heads. To first floor are 7 two light glazing bar
casements with flat arched ashlar heads. The doorcase was presumably reused
from the earlier hall. To the rear is a reconstructed gable with obelisk
